Memoread is a simple app, but it inspired a mindset shift for me on reading. I used to read a lot of books, mark them as “read” using other apps, then move on to the next. I might intend to write my thoughts down later, but mostly I’d forget until it was too late and most of my observations were gone. This app challenges you to reflect on what you read instead of just checking a box or giving a star rating. That means I really look forward to seeing updates in my feed from friends, because the content tends to be thoughtful and intentional. Give it a try if you want to reflect more on the books you read!
