New in 2.0: one-tap protection packs for Korean spam, paste a text to check where it goes and why, and simple block or allow rules for words, numbers, and links.
Spam Message Filter 2.0 helps sort unwanted Korean spam and phishing texts from unknown senders into the Messages Junk folder.
Protection packs
• One-tap packs for Korean spam: ads with (광고) or 080 opt-out numbers, phishing links (parcel, obituary, wedding, or traffic fine stories with a link), loan offers, illegal promotions, stock and crypto leading-room scams, texts from abroad, and election or poll texts (off by default).
• Verification-code protection delivers texts that have a 4–8 digit code and no link.
Message checker and My rules
• Paste a text in the app to see where it would go and why, with matched words highlighted.
• Fix a match in one tap (allow the number, allow a word, or turn off a rule) or block a text that slipped through by picking its link, number, or words.
• Block or allow by word, number (exact or starts with, e.g. 070), or link domain, and export or import rules as a file to share with family.
Privacy and setup
• iOS only filters texts from unknown senders, never saved contacts or iMessage.
• Judging happens on your device only. The filter extension makes no network requests, never stores or sends texts, and cannot see or count filtered texts or detect whether the filter is on.
• No account or login needed. Step-by-step setup instructions are shown for iOS 26+ (in Messages) and iOS 17–18 (in Settings).
Ratings & Reviews
Refined the app icon and added a usage analytics option in Settings.
- App Icon: Updated with calmer navy and subtle gold to match the app.
- Send usage analytics: Only sends usage stats to improve the app, never text contents, numbers, or rules. Turn it off in Settings to stop collection and delete on-device stats (not rules).
