I’ve used shopper for about 2 months. It’s quick to get a digital gift card. I’ve used it to pay balances at restaurants. It is easy to use to check out at the table with Ziosk most of the time. I also used it to pay for merchandise on the spot. I do let the cashier know that I need a total and purchase digital cards for the exact amount; even though it is an extra step and less convenient than just swiping a CC. Not all gift cards have a Barcode which makes it a little more difficult to manually check out.

Purchasing a gift card for the exact amount is a feature many members enjoy because it helps maximize every dollar while earning instant cash back.Regarding barcodes, the availability of a barcode or PIN is determined by each individual merchant’s gift card program. While most brands support barcode scanning, others currently require the gift card number and PIN to be entered or presented manually. I've been using Shopr for a few months now and so far it's been a good experience. It took me one or two times to get used to the process, but after that it’s pretty straightforward. I've used it for restaurants and a few other purchases, and everything has worked smoothly. The cash back is adding up, and it's nice getting something back on money I was already spending.

I downloaded this app because it was promoted through my union as a cashback benefit. The interface is extremely unclear, and it is very easy to unintentionally convert your own money into non‑refundable digital gift cards without realizing that you are making a purchase. I ended up with over $400 in gift cards I never intended to buy. When I contacted support, they repeatedly blamed “user misunderstanding” and refused to acknowledge that the design allows accidental transactions. Their position is that tapping a button equals full authorization, even if the user did not understand they were buying a gift card. No refund, no flexibility, no accountability. Use with extreme caution.

Thank you for your feedback.For clarity, Shopr Rewards works by allowing users to purchase digital gift card value within the app in order to earn instant cashback. Each transaction requires several steps including selecting a retailer, entering an amount, reviewing the details, and confirming the purchase by clicking "Confirm Purchase" before it is completed.The value from these transactions is not lost — it remains fully available in the user’s account as digital gift cards that can be used with the selected retailer. If the app has been removed, access can be restored at any time, or we can securely resend the gift cards for use.Our support team has been in direct contact and has provided detailed guidance, and we remain available to assist further in accessing and using the full value.
