WalkingBible helps you learn Bible verses by heart, and just as importantly, keep them.
Over 800 passages are set to music. Singing a verse is one of the oldest and most reliable ways to remember it: most of us can recall hundreds of songs and very few can recite a single verse. The melodies are verbatim Scripture, so what you remember is the text itself.
LEARN, THEN KEEP
Learning a verse is the easy half. WalkingBible asks you for each verse just before you would have forgotten it, and sets the next time from how it went. Recall it and the gap until the next time grows; miss it and the gap shrinks. A few minutes on the verses that need you, and nothing at all on the ones that do not.
PRACTICE THAT ASKS YOU TO REMEMBER
Rather than asking how well you think you know a verse, the app asks you to supply it, filling the gaps from a bank of words. You choose how much is asked of you: Easy, Medium or Hard.
SEE WHERE YOU STAND
One Learning screen shows what you hold, what is fading, and what you are still getting hold of. It explains, in plain language, what every label means and how the whole method works.
QUIET REMINDERS
Turn them on and you are reminded only on days something is actually due. A quiet week means the system is working, not that you have been forgotten.

- Pictures fill their space, rather than sitting in a wide grey band.
- Shelves of verses and topics show more at a time instead of just getting wider.
Also fixed: verses restored from a backup, or carried over when you change translation, are practised again rather than only counted.
