Camera Raw eXtensions provide support for Quick Look and thumbnails generations for camera RAW files that are not natively supported by macOS.
It uses the same high performance RAW decoding engine in ApolloOne (our renown Image Viewer / Digital Assets Management app).
Our RawBridge™ Preprocessor can render Fujifilm compressed RAF and Nikon HE/HE* NEF files via the Apple RAW decoder pipeline for very high visual quality output.
InstaBake™ technology enables real-time image rendering with ApolloOne's Quick Edit feature.
HDR Mode for Quick Look: view your RAW files in true High Dynamic Range directly from Finder's Quick Look preview, with no extra app to launch. A first for the Mac.
Show AF Points overlay: instantly see exactly where your camera focused, right inside the Quick Look preview. Supports Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus/OM System, and Sony cameras.
Our Quick Look extension can render a RAW image in about 1 second or less (when used with Apple Silicon Macs).
This app can be used in conjunction with ApolloOne for the ultimate RAW files management suite.
It supports the following file formats: Adobe DNG, Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony and Sigma Foveon.

Fast RAW Viewing Natively in Finder
DM VISUALS
I’ve been looking for an app to view my RAW images super fast natively in Finder for so long… well the wait is over thanks to Camera RawX. If you’ve used Apples quick look on RAW photos, you know the wait can be 4-5 secs per photo! Now, when I open RAW photos, I feel like I’m opening JPEG’s… it’s that fast… Not only is the app AMAZING, the customer support is FANTASTIC! One of the best customer supports I’ve ever experienced! Fast to reply and addresses any issues with the software. On top of that, the app is frequently updated, squashing any bugs or adding new features! If you’re a photographer with lots of RAW photos and want to save time, I highly recommend Camera RawX.

Excellent utility for photos

A number of cameras have raw files that require the use of development kits that can't be built into the base Mac operating systems. These include both Fuji and Nikon. If you are exasperated with the inability to see image thumbnails in the Mac Finder, this is your solution. With extension support for the exotic raw formats, and quick support for new camera bodies before they get included in Apple's direct support, the solution is Camera RawX. It is terrific for Nikon's HE* and HE, Fuji compressed raw, and the raw files from most major brands of digital camera. In addition, there is great customer support.

Just what I was looking for!

macOS is notoriously slow in adding support for various cameras and their files. Losslessly compressed raw files from my Fujifilm X-T5 camera, for example, were displayed as generic icons. No more! Thanks to Camera RawX, they are now displayed as proper icons, and even QuickView works: select any of the photo files and press the space bar and enjoy a beautiful preview of your photo. Wish I could give this app more than six stars as it fixes something that has been driving me crazy for a long time!

A “must” utility Fujifilm and other users

It works!!! This is a great piece of software to display raw photographs both as thumbnails and in Quick View for cameras usually not supporting this (such as some Leica DNGs, especially the Monochrom models, and many raw FujiFilm file formats, among others). The developer of RawX is very responsive. After I bought this software a few days ago, I had trouble with an older model Leica Monochrome (246) showing up both as thumbnail and in Quick View, and the developer promptly fixed this within 24 hours it even though it is to a bug in the latest versions of Apple OS software. I am very impressed and I highly recommend this utility to anyone who has an affected camera or photo format. Thank you, Albert!P.S.The new 2.0 version add some excellent functionality. I am impressed with the continued support by the developer.
