I like that it is news blurbs from a lot of sources. I can read what is there or dive deeper if I need. I don’t like how the comments are on a different page. “Buzz” doesn’t seem useful. Also the buzz part is a little glitchy. It’s a young app but I like the concept. A lot of the news I digest is headlines. I then dive deeper if I am interested. This gives a little deeper headlines without having me read a article bit gives me an option to read more if I want. It shows me a couple of different headlines in the same place. I like how it labels the headlines so you can have a sense of the lean it is coming from.

The CEO of this company is very hands-on, and outright asked my opinion of the app. I liked that. I hope they make this into a disinformation crushing machine. Also the CEO seems to be genuinely kind and wishing for a more informed society. I also like that!The current features are very nice and there are improvements made on other news apps that I appreciate, like how you don’t clutter your space for making the mistake of wanting lots of topics. Good app!

I really like the concept of this app. I like the short summaries and the ability to see all sides. Like how it shows you both left-leaning and right-leaning opinions. I feel like that's something a lot more people need to see.However, as it stands at the moment, the usability with voiceover, the ios screenreader that allows blind people to use apple devices is bad. I'm able to read stories well enough but when it comes to interacting with them, especially commenting on them, it's not good at all.This short format would be great for blind and visually impaired people to get news, if these issues were improved upon.

I’ve been using Drooid for about 2 months now. The greatest thing about the app is it feeds you news stories that you will not see on the front page or reddit or google news. If you’re interested in what’s really going on in the world, you’ll find more than you can read with this app.
