TrueMoney with Advanced level is a game-changer. Just upload your passport and Thai driver’s license, and you can pay both personal and business PromptPay QR codes. With this and a few other tools, you won’t miss having a Thai bank account. Only gripe: top-ups at 7-Eleven are limited to 3,000 THB—would love more flexible options.Edit: Wish it were more reliable. “Unable to process” occurs more than I would like.

Misleading and questionable practices with foreigner personal documents

This app is absolutely useless. If you’re a foreigner without a local residence or work permit, don’t even bother wasting your time. After going through registration and approval, you’ll find out you can’t even use the app. From a legal standpoint, I’m not sure if it’s even acceptable to collect passport copies from foreigners only to block them from using the service afterward. This should be clearly stated before registration, not after users have submitted their personal documents. I’ll be reporting this app to the Apple Store for further investigation to see how it was even approved. To me, this feels more like a scheme to collect passport data rather than a legitimate service provider. Can you imagine how many foreigner passport copies PRIVATE company collect through the years

Cannot connect ATM as non-Thai

Lost my Bangkok bank ATM card and finally got a replacement. surprised to find out that I cannot re-add my new debit card to use directly with TrueMoney anymore. probably Bangkok Bank’s fault, but still please try to get them to allow non-Thais to put in their passport number as before. Thank you!

Most lagging App ever used in my entire life
Man in the dark night
Before it’s just fine until I was forced to update the App. Now it takes about 12 seconds to load to the bio-login prompt, and takes about 20 seconds to show the full homepage after logged in. Then it takes 5-10 seconds to respond every single tap on anything on the screen. Product manager should be fired.
