Track habits without streak guilt, plan tasks, keep Markdown notes - on every device, no account needed. Optional self-hosted sync keeps your data under your control. Take notes, plan tasks, and track habits - native apps on all your devices, plus a web app. Free, ad-free, and open source. No account needed: all your data stays on your device. HABITS WITHOUT STREAK GUILT Instead of a streak counter, every habit has a desired repeat interval. The app shows how overdue each habit is as a percentage of that interval, so you always see what needs attention first. Missing a day never resets anything. Classic streaks are available too - off by default. NOTES, TASKS AND HABITS IN ONE PLACE • Notes with full Markdown support • Tasks with planned dates, duration and time tracking • Habits with flexible repeat intervals - track repetitions, time or quantity • Checklist sub-items on both tasks and habits • Categories, colors, priorities, search, filters and sorting - for notes, tasks and habits YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • All data is stored locally on your device • Export and import: Markdown, JSON, YAML, TSV • Import your notes from Google Keep • Optional sync: host the Docker image on your own server and every app, desktop or mobile, can log in and sync MADE TO FIT YOU • 26 themes with dark and light mode • Customizable UI - show or hide almost every element • Available in 20 languages • Keyboard navigation and screen reader support

I was really hoping to positively rate this app but privacy and transparency are two of the most important factors for me when choosing to use an app. Upon reading the attached privacy policy, it is stated that this app explicitly collected personal data: “ Types of Data CollectedPersonal DataWhile using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:- Email address- First name and last name- Cookies and Usage DataUsage DataWe may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.”And the use of third party service providers is employed with this app.

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to read the privacy policy. I completely understand how important privacy and transparency are, and I really appreciate you pointing this out.I want to acknowledge that the policy you saw was too broad because it tried to cover all versions of OpenHabitTracker, including the website and an optional Google Drive backup feature that has since been removed. I hadn’t updated the policy to reflect that, and I see how that could be confusing. If I ever bring back Google Drive or similar optional backups, I’ll make sure the policy is updated right away.I’ve now updated the privacy policy to clearly separate the different cases - website, PWA, desktop, mobile, and self-hosted versions - and explicitly state that no personal data, usage data, telemetry, or crash reports are collected in any version.

• Added habit statistics charts: target, history, calendar, best streaks and frequency • Added a daily summary notification of what is due • Added a reminder notification before a task's planned time • Added an icon that shows when online sync is not working • Fixed online sync giving up until restart after the server became unreachable • Fixed weekly statistics missing on the start page until something changed • Fixed the end of a page being hidden behind the navigation bar on phones
