Good Service but customer support could be better

Usually no complaints on yupptv. It works well and good.But they could do better in customer support area.Below are couple of instances highlighting above feedback.1) I had to contact customer support to understand how the recent app update on sony blueray player disturbed fast forward/rewind functions. Customer support elaborated to use navigations in place regular fast forward buttons. It took about couple weeks and couple of customer support calls to understand this and no version history has any mention on this. There should have been at least version history reference and/or an email to impacting customers while app is being revised/fixed. 2) Few months back we used to have Maa Tv part of our subscription. Looks like due to some cost/benefit concers Yupptv didn’t wanted to telecast MaaTv instead replaced MaaTv with Gemini channels eventually. This is one situation (and a big chane) where there was no clue or whatsoever (neither support calls got connected) and it usually took few months to understand reason by some fellow customers who could luckily got to catch up customer support teams. An email while the change was occurring giving valid reasons could have made some difference in this experience.

Too many Ads from iPhone app

Getting really bad day after day with ads playing each time a program is selected. Ads take up half of our time and there is no way to skip those ads. Any program by any channel itself has ads for 5 minutes or more but the app playing ads for .5 to 4 minutes is just ridiculous. After subscribing to yupptv and to endure such crap is really annoying. Need to look for alternatives to yupptv and cancel the subscription. Upto 6 or 8 months back it was not so bad, but now with each update the app is degrading with unwanted changes of 1 hr or 2 hour program blocks and there is No way to go your program without going through the ads and then watching some unwanted programs, trying to go to near the end of 29 minutes, wait through another ad of 3.5 minutes and trying to go to your needed program section etc. this app is really going to the dogs. As many people have reported about ads and the company and its technical team are just sleeping through those comments and doing nothing about it. Even about the Star programming going away, there was no prior intimation to customers and all of a sudden one day star channels were not available. Like many I would like to give -5 for this app for its issues with ads, not thinking through customer experience of watching programs, not seamlessly moving through 30 minute program blocks without ads. On top of all this, half the time most programs just keep loading with spinning circles. The quality of yupptv has really degraded to such an extent from the time I subscribed around 2-3 years back. Has anyone found some good alternatives to yupptv? I am think of cancelling this service and moving to something else which will not waste so much of time with all the above issues.

This is the worst app I ever used.. I regret for buying subscription altogether.Too many adds ..sometimes same add repeats over 10 times before I can access the live stream or catch up. I seriously wonder why these guys are charging for subscription when they are making fortune on ads(looks like it is)... the companies giving these guys ads need to realize that people will likely build hatred towards their products with such abuse of ads here!! Seriously I’m not gonna renew this subscription!!P.S: I have received standard response from the so called developers that I’m sure was copy pasted at least 600 times. 80% of the negative and one star ratings on this app were around ads. I really wonder why this guy is so thirsty about money from ads when he is actually charging for the service. These guys are extremely greedy and commercial to the core. I hope they shutdown the business soon. I’m done with this.. deleting the app and will never ever buy this subscription and will ensure none of my friends or family ever buy this.. This is no better than stealing..

Using yupp tv for the past 5 years. Was using channel live before. Because of their bad customer service we switched to yupp. Yupp has good customer service and have mostly resolved my issues immediately.Their service is good. One thing is they could bring back the star vijay and star channels. Local ads came inbetween and when I called and complained them they made it to stop and now I don’t get any ads in between.Their web series are also so cool. Good service.

One thing is they could bring back the star vijay and star channels. Local ads came inbetween and when I called and complained them they made it to stop and now I don’t get any ads in between.Their web series are also so cool. Good service.
