Works well. Wish I could sort on expiration date regardless of category so I can easily prioritize using those foods.
Great concept, but…

Developers concentrated on new to the market features, like tracking item’s expiration date and reminders. I want to see the following features in new version of this app:1. To have less clutter on the list, please create subgroup folders/lists. 2. Allow to mark item on the list as almost gone and need to restocking next time I’m shopping. 3. Once the item is marked “needs to restock” it has to automatically go to top of the list (or even better) a copy of that item goes into a new category- “my next shopping list”.4. Set up an automated reminder about expiration date. Let’s say 1 months in advance and 1 week in advance. And when that automatic reminder goes off - move item automatically to the “my next shopping list”Currently I’m coming back from shopping with about 100 items. I got quickly discouraged trying to stock up my refrigerator and scan items and pick expiration date. Put options for expiration date. Like display a numeric keyboard, the dial/dropdown menu with “days” “weeks” “months” and “years”. I don’t want to enter exact expiration date from calendar. It’s taking too much time. Just home me option “expires in 3 months”. And that would be good enough, if it will take only 1/2 second to set expiration date.P.S. the idea behind my suggestion is to keep a list of “staple” groceries on the list and easy to access and update. I don’t want to delete items from the list. And then keep aSeparate shopping list. I need to mark item when time to restock
Awesome Idea, Missing Needed Features

Love the idea of this but it’s a bit too hard to use for me and missing important enough features that I don’t want to use it all the time. 1) You can’t scan barcodes. I understand a barcode doesn’t have expiration dates but it would help with filling in all other product info. Maybe having a camera icon that could convert an image of an expiration label into text. 2) I don’t see any visual note that a product has expired. Even when I set it to remind me, in the list itself the expired product looks like all the other products. 3) I wish I could mark items off that I just bought so I know I have new ones. I’d have to update expiration date but I’d love to easily see what I got new and what I still need to get.
Developer Response
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We just released a new app version:1) It is now possible to scan barcodes.2) Expired items are now in red.3) You can swipe to remove items from the list.
Nice idea, but….

When an item has expired, the ONLY notification you get is on your device. It would be much better if you got an email notification. Also, when an item is expired, I was hoping that the expiration date would turn red or something to notify me within the app that something has expired. No such luck. If there was an option to somehow sort items that are going to expire sooner, so then, at least you could make a note to use them up quicker, that would help. However, there is no such option. Also, if you happen to enter the expiration date as a date that has already passed, the system does not flag it at all.Got a response from the developer that only one of my concerns has been addressed - the expired items now appear in red.
Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback. We released a new app version where the expired items are now marked in red.
Several bug fixes.
