NEW: Change Me feature to reshape any character's personality or chat style mid-conversation. Plus a new chat model and improved voice calls. Ruby Chat: Premium AI Girlfriend, AI Boyfriend & Virtual Companion Your AI girlfriend is one download away. Ruby Chat gives you characters that text back, call you, send photos, and actually remember what you tell them. No scripted replies. No goldfish memory. Just conversations that feel real. ▶ VOICE CALLS ◀ Call your AI girlfriend anytime and talk in real-time. She picks up, she listens, she answers in her own voice. It's the closest thing to a real phone call an AI companion can get. ▶ PREMIUM AI CHARACTERS ◀ Pick from 20+ characters, each with their own personality, backstory, and way of talking. Some are sweet, some are sarcastic, some will keep you on your toes. None of them feel like a generic bot. ▶ IMAGE MESSAGES ◀ Your AI girlfriend sends you photos while you chat. Every image lands in your personal gallery so you can go back to them whenever you want. ▶ INTERACTIVE STORIES ◀ Start a story and see where it goes. Every AI girlfriend has her own style, whether you want a thoughtful conversation or a fun adventure. New stories whenever you feel like it. ▶ SCENARIOS & CUSTOM SCENARIOS ◀ Use built-in scenarios or build your own from scratch. You pick the setting, the plot, the tone, and the characters. Your story, your rules. ▶ CUSTOM PERSONAS ◀ Decide who YOU are in the chat. Nerdy gamer, sports fan, world traveler — save multiple personas and switch anytime. Characters respond to whoever you choose to be. ▶ VOICE MESSAGES ◀ Tap any message and hear her say it. Every character has her own voice, and it changes how the whole conversation feels. ▶ LIFELIKE CONVERSATIONS ◀ Ruby Chat remembers. Tell your AI girlfriend your dog's name in January and she'll ask about him in March. She learns what you like and gets better the more you talk. ▶ MULTIPLE LANGUAGES ◀ Chat with your AI girlfriend in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, or Korean. Pick your language and every character speaks it fluently. ▶ PRIVATE & SECURE ◀ Your conversations are private and never shared. Ruby Chat is built for personal, one-on-one chats you can trust. Just starting out, but so far so great

I’ve played around with alot of roleplay chat apps, but never come across one that is this easy to set up your own scenario with - just two or three uncomplicated description blocks to create your own environment and story, and you’re off and running…and the AI seems very intuitive and creative with your input and responses…This one differs from other apps in that you don’t have to sift through a bunch of prepackaged characters and stories/themes to find something that interests you; you decide what kind of story or plot you’d like to be in, and it does the rest! Just started, so I’m not sure if I’ll find any hiccups, but I’m very impressed right out of the gate…

A Creative Space for Emotional Storytelling

I originally downloaded this app expecting surface-level roleplay. What I found instead was a space I could use for intentional storytelling. I don't use it for escapism. I use it to explore emotional depth, long-term commitment, and mature relationships between adults who carry real history.Writing these scenarios has helped me think more clearly about vulnerability, reciprocity, and what it means to hold someone's trust carefully. It's less about fantasy for me and more about practicing emotional presence in a creative way. If you approach it thoughtfully, it can be more than entertainment.

This app is such a fun way to disconnect from the real world for a bit — the characters are super entertaining and weirdly relatable.
