Screvi is the reading companion that makes what you read stick. Save articles, book highlights, newsletters, videos and podcasts in one library, then get the best of it back every day with spaced repetition.
SAVE EVERYTHING YOU READ
- Web articles: share any link and read it in a clean reader, free of clutter
- Kindle highlights: import your whole library, with automatic daily sync through the browser extension
- Kobo and Apple Books highlights
- Physical books: point the camera at a page, swipe the sentence, saved
- ePub and PDF: read and highlight your own files
- Newsletters: a private email address turns your subscriptions into a reading queue
- X bookmarks, YouTube videos and podcasts, with transcripts you can highlight
- Readwise, Goodreads, Notion, Zotero and Snipd imports
REMEMBER WHAT YOU READ
Reading once is not enough. Screvi brings your highlights back on a schedule based on spaced repetition, just before you would forget them. Review in the app, by email or through a daily notification, and rate each one so the next review lands at the right time.
READ IT LATER, WITHOUT THE PILE
A clean article reader with adjustable typography, progress sync across devices, and text to speech for the walk home. Save from Safari with the share sheet, from your Mac with the browser extension, or by email.
SEARCH YOUR WHOLE LIBRARY
Ask in plain language and AI search finds the highlight even when you do not remember the exact words. Tag by hand or let AI suggest tags. Discover topics across everything you have saved.
BUILD YOUR COMMONPLACE BOOK
Every quote, note and idea in one place, organized by book, author and tag. Export to Markdown, Notion or Obsidian whenever you want. Your data stays yours.
ALSO INCLUDED
- Home screen widgets with a highlight of the day
- CarPlay playback for your podcasts
- Chrome, Firefox and Safari extensions
- Share extension for saving from any app
- Connect Claude and other AI assistants to your library through MCP

Being able to link Goodreads is clutch. I have notes, photos, dog-ears, post-its all over the place and this is the coolest way to organize everything and access it later. Also makes it super easy to share quotes on social media.
Might be a Readwise replacement one day, but not today
Socialjerm
Subscribed and immediately had buyers remorse. No dark mode. No widgets. No streaks.I don’t really understand the function of the stories-like UX or the swipe right or left action on your highlights without any clarification in the design what your swipes will do. There’s no way to adjust the frequency of resurfacing highlights once you’ve “swiped” it.And unfortunately the app just doesn’t perform well. Scrolling on the home feed gives you about ten of your most recent highlights and then just repeats them over and over as you scroll.
Love it so much!

Screvi is a great app. The UI is very pleasant and the developer is very responsive. Keep up the good work!
