Translate anything on your Mac — from any app, with one hotkey, entirely offline. Private AI Translator lives in your menu bar. Select text, press a hotkey, and a translation appears, produced by a language model running on your own machine. No account. No API key. No word limits. No subscription. And no network in the translation path. It ships with its model, and has no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking SDK. Everything it writes stays on your Mac: your preferences, your history (switchable off, and switching it off erases it), and the files you explicitly save. Good for: reading foreign email and documents, working offline, translating text in screenshots, keeping client and legal text off third-party servers, and anyone who would rather not paste their work into a website.
