So when downloading and subscribing for the yearly service, the app translates great. Just like google translate. However, the description states translate in real time. It really doesn’t do that. You have to type in let’s say English, hit the blue translate button then send the message. I thought I could just type and hit send and it will translate to let’s say Spanish, and send the message all at once. 2nd I’m not sure that this app translates the responses back to English. I still have to copy and paste the response and then switch language back to English to see the translation. I thought this app would allow seamless translation without having to copy and paste. At this point it is just like Google Gboard which is free…if I’m wrong devs, please let me know. For example on the Line app, there is a translating bot that will translate back and forth in real time. Love it when in Japan. It’s a great translating keyboard don’t get me wrong, but gboard is free.

Update: I reinstalled the app and now I am not experiencing any lag time when translating into Spanish. I changed my rating from a two star to a five star rating I’ve had this app for almost a year and it’s been such a wonderful experience when chatting to my friends from English to Spanish. Thanks! Has anyone been experiencing any issues lately with this app? I have been using this app for almost a a year now and it’s worked flawlessly. I’ve never had an issue using this translator, keyboard app. I actually love it but the last couple days there has been issues where I try to send messages in English to Spanish on the right side of the lingo keyboard app the icon just spins and spins and before once you hit the blue button, it just automatically converted into Spanish and I was able to hit. Send. Has there been an update on this app that things changed? I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max. Is there anyone else experiencing the same issues? With someone from customer support be able to get in touch with me to see if there’s something on my iPhone that needs to be changed? I have already deleted and reinstalled and it’s still doing the same thing.

The only change that I would make is that when you're selecting the option for which language I would allow a search bar to be able to type in which language you want versus having to scroll and scroll and scroll to find the language.

I downloaded this app because it claimed it could translate words while texting, but it barely works at all. Almost every single time I tried to use it, the app just said it “didn’t know” instead of actually translating anything. That completely defeats the purpose of downloading a translation app in the first place.I tested it multiple times with different words and phrases, including very common ones, and I kept getting the same response. It didn’t matter what language I tried or how simple the message was — the app almost never gave a usable translation. If an app is advertised as being able to translate while texting, it should be reliable and consistent, not constantly fail.This app ended up being more frustrating than helpful and felt like a waste of time. I expected something functional, but instead I got an app that doesn’t deliver on what it promises. I would not recommend this to anyone who actually needs a dependable translation tool.
