Die [k]kaleidoskop-App führt ein in die Geschichte der Kampnagel-Fabrik während des Nationalsozialismus und verbindet die überfällige Aufarbeitung mit experimenteller, digitaler Technologie und innovativem, faktenbasierten Storytelling. Allein hier auf Kampnagel waren über 500 Zwangsarbeitende tätig, die zur Rüstungsproduktion eingesetzt wurden. Die Menschen stammten aus von Nazi-Deutschland besetzen Ländern und Gebieten und waren in Firmenlagern untergebracht. Auch von den kaum möglichen Widerstandsversuchen und einigen wenigen solidarischen Nachbar*innen erzählt die App, ebenso wie von den vergeblichen Anstrengungen einiger ehemaliger Zwangsarbeitender mit der Kulturinstitution in Dialog zu treten, die dieses Gelände „geerbt“ hat. Die eigens entwickelte und programmierte [k]kaleidoskop-App bietet die Möglichkeit, sich auf eine individuelle Geländetour zu machen und dabei die bisher unbeachteten und unerzählten Geschichten von systematischer Zwangsarbeit auf Kampnagel zu erfahren. Digitale Avatare führen via Smartphone über das Gelände, verweisen auf Einzelbiografien, analysieren und diskutieren Handlungsoptionen. Auf der projektbegleitenden Webseite ist ein Online-Archiv zu finden sowie vertiefende Texte, die die menschenverachtende Systematik offenlegen.
