I just started playing the game. I'm not sure yet, what I think about it. So far, all I have done is click on areas when instructed to do so. There are quests to be completed, but I'm not quite sure exactly how it all works. Again, I click when I am instructed to do so. I assume this will end and I will be left to do things on my own, but if clicking and waiting out a timer is all there is, then I may need to choose a different game. There has not been a lot of explanation as to what I am doing, or why, but since I just started, I am hoping that after I spend more time playing, the reasoning will become clearer. I will definitely continue to play, because I think this game has a lot of potential, depending on how it transpires after the original tutorial is complete.

We have been playing this game for at least six months and have had so much trouble receiving awards from the Archer’s Hut and from fighting warriors. We see the feathers being awarded from working at the Archer’s Hut, yet we have NEVER received them in our resource box! The same thing happens when fighting warriors. We are awarded different items needed to open the market, painted pots, mosaics, centurions helmets and just watch them disappear and never placed in our resource box. Who knows what else we have lost as they disappear to fast to know what is awarded. I wish there was a way to know what has been awarded along with the resource box. I’ve been writing to support for five months and still have not gotten the problem fitted. How is one to play the game if they are awarded items needed to move forward and/or open other parts of the game, yet NEVER receive them in ones resource box? We call this stealing/cheating the player! My son enjoys the game, yet feels he is being cheated and he is! Sadly we are about at the end of our rope. If support isn’t offered, the game is stealing your awards to which prevent you from moving forward, what else can one do?

This game is a lot of fun and very entertaining. With that being said, drawbacks are expense to move through the levels and very little explanation of how to compete in events or mini-games. Support is not helpful with questions or with demonstrations for FISHING, etc., and players are referred to the FAQs page. Do not like the constant pop-ups as they occur whenever you open chests and you can't see what you have won, etc. You can move through achievements fairly quickly and there are lots of choices for buildings, crops, and other cute additions to the farm. Easy to move or stash items. Cost for expansion rises very quickly and demands for wood, food, and supplies gets extremely difficult. However, I think you will really enjoy this app because of the entertainment factor and when the fishing issue is resolved. Other players seem to not have a problem with this so anticipate joining their ranks. Have fun and play on!
Costly & way to many ads

For the amount of money I'm spending I shouldn't have to put up with pop up ads! And you don't even know your giving me ads for games I've already downloaded, which makes it more frustrating. Can't catch a single fish!!! I've tried numerous techniques, including all the hints you can find online.Requires way to many resources to do stuff( an energy, 1-6 swords plus all the resources you used to make the swords and the resources you used to create the buildings to make the swords! Which is to bad, because the game is fun and well designed, but I can't imagine to many people will continue spending the amount of money it takes to really enjoy it! And I've had multiple excepted friends but can't add more then 17!!!
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
