I constantly have to ask my teenage son to help me with most things technology related. Even when I’m halfway through “figuring something out” I usually have to call him in to fix or change whatever I’m missing but this program is so easy I was actually able to use it myself. I appreciate the fact that the free trial is actually a free trial. I’ve tried so many programs where the free trial just lets you create the building blocks of something and then if you want to see the final project you have to pay for it. I mean who would pay for that? You have no idea if it would be worth it. This program let me create a couple of projects from start to finish. After the first two I was already checking prices for unlimited membership. Personally I think it’s worth it but what do I know, I’m just an adult 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do not expect anything for free, but I do expect to receive the services I pay for without having to jump through hoops. Like most AI, the visuals do not consistently come out as you prompt- it's very much a numbers game, you "roll the dice" until you get what you want, or at least an acceptable variation. Problem? A subscriber only has limited credits to do this with and it is not clearly stated when or how much these credits are used. Yes, in the (ever changing) FAQ the credit cost for advanced video generations are listed, but there is no running tally. So, maybe you think well, one of the perks is "unlimited videos" for a certain lower tier generation. Too bad you can't specify which model you want to use or know which model you are using at a given time. Even once you're out of credits, the generations don't default to the "unlimited" model, instead you are led to believe you must pay more money for additional credits, or navigate the UI maze to find which "make a video" menu will actually let you use your subscription. Also, women, if you have short hair, expect to run out your credits while brute forcing the AI into creating avatars WITHOUT long hair. People who aren't skinny? Don't worry! You will be! SMH.

I signed up for the $30/month Creator plan to move forward with a professional film pitch, but the experience has been a total disaster.First, the value is non-existent. I managed to get fewer than 20 short generations before hitting a credit wall. For a thirty-dollar monthly fee, that is an insulting amount of output. They heavily market 'unlimited' features, but anything actually usable (like high-fidelity avatars or premium motion) drains your tiny credit bucket instantly.To make matters worse, when I tried to resolve the issue, I was told that upgrades and credit add-ons are 'not available in my area.' How can a global AI platform take my money for a subscription but then claim regional restrictions when I need to actually use the service I’m paying for? They have essentially bricked my account for the rest of the month with no path forward.If you are a serious creator or a student on a deadline, stay far away. This isn't a tool; it's a dead end. I’ll be taking my workflow to D-ID or ElevenLabs where they actually value their customers' time and regional access.Total waste of money.
