aegis is a personal safety app. You press SOS, and the people who can help get your location and your details.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PRESS SOS
You get a six second countdown. While it runs, aegis asks a few short questions about what is happening and you tap the answers. At zero it dispatches. Those answers travel with the alert, so help does not start from nothing. You can keep answering after dispatch, and each answer updates the live report.
YOUR GUARDIANS
Add the people you trust. When an SOS dispatches they receive a text with your name, what is happening, and a link to your location that keeps updating. Remove a guardian and their link stops working.
A LIVE AGENT WHEN YOU WANT ONE
From the SOS screen you can escalate to a professional dispatch agent who can send police or EMS. Your medical profile, allergies and blood type go with the alarm.
THE DURESS PIN
Set a second PIN. Entering it looks exactly like cancelling: your screen returns to normal. It does not cancel anything. The alarm stays live, your location keeps going out, and dispatch is told not to call or text you back.
IT KEEPS WORKING WHEN YOUR PHONE IS NOT IN YOUR HAND
Once an SOS is live, location keeps flowing while the app is backgrounded, locked or even killed.
EVIDENCE
Capture photo and video during an incident. It saves to your device and uploads to your account, and it retries later if you are offline.

Quick access shows you how to open aegis with the Action Button, Back Tap or your voice assistant, with the exact steps for your phone.
aegis is not a replacement for calling your local emergency number.
Guardian invitations now work the way you expect.
- When you add a guardian, aegis asks which of their numbers to use instead of
guessing. Picking the wrong one used to send the invitation to a landline,
and the person you meant never got it.
- If an invitation cannot be accepted, aegis now tells you why - expired, sent
to a different number, or already used - instead of one message for all three.
- Invitations no longer expire after a week. Your guardian can take their time.
Location sharing tells the truth.
- Turning off sharing with someone now always reaches our servers before the
switch moves. If it cannot, the switch stays on and says so, rather than
telling you that you are private when you are not.
You decide what aegis sends about a guardian.
- Before aegis opens your contact picker, it now tells you plainly that your
address book is never uploaded, that only the one person you tap is used,
and exactly what is sent about them and what for. You can decline, and
nothing is read.
- You can read that again at any time from your contacts screen, and withdraw
your consent there.
Under the hood.
- Payments are recorded correctly, so a guardian who has paid is seen as paid.
- Faster, quieter background behaviour and a number of stability fixes.
