This app is a good way to practice sentences for early learners. My daughter has delayed speech so we work on these all the time. In the sentence building the app says the words too fast so it would be nice to have a setting to slow them down. Also the outside links are not childproofed which is a little frustrating sometimes.

This app uses over 300 sentences broken down into 24 different lessons. It has four choices of sentence lengths. It starts with 2-word sentences and works up to 6-word sentences. There are about 75 sentences for every type of sentence length category. This app focuses on sentences containing short vowel, 3-letter words. It also uses 40 common sight words. The app has two games. In the first game, children take randomly placed words and arrange them into a sentence. In the second game, children read the sentence and then touch the picture to check their work. There are also a couple of site word games. The interface is nice and child friendly. I definitely like this app and how it has helped the children in my class become better readers. It has helped them read sentences as a whole more fluidly, rather than just being able to read the separate words in the sentences.

I have been using the earlier version for many years and recently upgraded my device so have the newer version now. The activities are powerful, especially with the ability to alter the level of support in the settings. The new version has expanded the ways to target literacy skills. I like the visual scorecard, but I wish it was tally’s or something else besides teddy bears. I’ve used this apps with a variety of age levels and never had anyone feel uncomfortable with it(thinking it is too primary). They all request it, they like it so much. I’m concerned my older students will realize it’s designed for primary ages. Hope I’m wrong!

I have already got the lite version of this app truns out my daughter loves it, so I purchased this. Frankly speaking, the contents it provides is definitely worth the three bucks I've paid. Love it and I'm looking forward to more powerful and amazing features in the upcoming update in the future.
