As someone preparing for a trip to Puerto Rico, Glyphz has been a game-changer in my journey to improve my Spanish. With its immersive, real-world learning approach, I’ve been able to snap photos of everyday objects and instantly see and hear the translations, making the language stick in a way that traditional methods never have. The app has allowed me to build confidence, not just for the trip, but also to communicate more effectively with my in-laws. I’ve been learning quickly, and I know it’s going to be invaluable both before the trip and while I’m there. I love how personalized and intuitive it is—truly a must-have for anyone wanting to learn a language on the go! Duolingo gets old and repetitive. I enjoy the immersion and flexibility and the fact I can see it in writing and hear it spoken.

I took Spanish in highschool and even lived abroad but never picked up the language. I found most language apps boring. I really like this app because it allows you to take real life photos and learn the language interactively. Its a conversation starter with bilingual friends. I can’t wait to take it traveling with me. It’s partial and best part not boring!

Great idea, but unfortunately it is not working. I tried it for the Portuguese language. No matter what I do- all permissions for camera granted in my iPad settings etc. a popup says I must keep Glyphz in the foreground, and then it states my internet is not fast enough. My internet works for all other apps, so I am confident there is some kind of bug causing this. I am on a larger iPad Pro and it is about 2 1/2 years old. Request- can you add GREEK too? I would love when the bugs get ironed out to try this for Greek.

This app is not only helpful, but also fun to use! I love hearing a whole sentence - it gives me more than just the word translation, but the proper inflection when using words in a sentence. This app has it all!
