I’m learning Japanese and this app has been engaging and helpful for that cause, especially the read aloud short stories and kanji writing feature. Having stories read at a faster pace than I can currently read helps me to read faster, and upgrade my listening skills. I also really appreciate how the lessons break down the meanings of certain phrases like 元気ですか or おはようございます. Understanding is a much faster process to learn than just memorizing for me. Listening to songs is also an amazing idea and feature that I haven’t seen on any other app.The only thing I wish is that the interface was a bit neater (though I don’t care that much) and that the kanji was grouped or sorted so that I could practice specific ones / look for a group of specific vocabulary (like cooking terms or N5 level kanji).

I’ve only had this app for a couple days but it is the best app I’ve used to learn Japanese so far! It teaches reading, writing, speaking, listening, and more! The app makes it fun so you want to keep practicing for hours on end! I’ve learned so much already from this app and I plan to keep using it to help me learn! It also has an option to converse with AI which is super helpful when learning to have conversations! I like that it also teaches you how to write kanji as well as hiragana and katakana. I can’t find any apps that teach kanji the way this one does it helps me remember the characters! I recommend this app to anyone looking to learn a new language! Truly I have never used an app better than this one!
