I have been very frustrated when trying to dictate to keep notes. I have frequent ideas that I need to record quickly before I forget them. The current method from my iPhone was using the Notes app. So many words were misused. It seems like it would not hear a lot of of the words I said. So starting to use Voice Scriber immediately I’ve had success It has transcribed very well. One or two questionable words. Maybe just not pronounced very well. This is how I expected dictation to be so it is a big relief that your product does exactly that

Not too bad- better then iOS, not as good as GPT.I still feel like it deserves more love on the App store than like 5 reviews though! Also, if they actually keep supporting it, it is one of the few dictation apps where you can still purchase a lifetime membership.Would be great of it had a keyboard integration.The privacy focused offline feature is fantastic.

10 minute limit fixed!

The app does what it says it does. The developer is very responsive. They fixed the 10 minute limitation a few months back and recently when I reported the record button stops working after a while, they issued a fix a few days later.

Great idea. Not great function.

The idea is great but after multiple attempts things do not work as expected. Working in the background always fails. It not only stops recording but the one it started disappears. I lost multiple recordings this way. It also transcribes very poorly. Common words are wrong on multiple occasions and it is often incoherent transcription. I wish it worked. I want local transcription quite badly.

• Recording and transcription are now much more stable during long meetings, lectures, and lock-screen use.
• Start a new recording while your previous one is still transcribing. No more waiting for it to finish first.
• Added Greek and Arabic. The VoiceScriber interface is now available in these languages.
