Thank you so much for bringing back Medabots, it’s a great game, I love being able to collect different Medabots and seeing what they can do, And I also love the pictures of them, anybody that’s a fan of Medabots is gonna love this game, It’s different from previous games, but I still love it, and anybody that’s new to Medabots I think you’ll like it too.Remember everyone “more Medabots, more power, (I had to throw that one in).and I just wanted to mention one glitch I found, in a match when you fail, when you go to press the button to give you another chance by watching an ad, it doesn’t load the ad, so I had to end up just pushing the X button to leave the match, hope you guys can fix it, thanks.

Can't Walk to Taco Bell
I was excited for this game as a new Medabots game (though I’m still hoping for a mainline RPG). The gameplay is good, but it is held back by the gacha mechanics. The appeal of a Survivor genre game is the change in builds from round to round. Due to the guaranteed party composition, the game starts to feel same-y after a while. Also, they are pretty heavy-handed with the (optional) ads in this game. This was a nice teaser, but I am looking forward to a new console game in the West (hopefully Medarot 10).

I was excited for this game as a new Medabots game (though I’m still hoping for a mainline RPG). The gameplay is good, but it is held back by the gacha mechanics. The appeal of a Survivor genre game is the change in builds from round to round. Due to the guaranteed party composition, the game starts to feel same-y after a while. Also, they are pretty heavy-handed with the (optional) ads in this game. This was a nice teaser, but I am looking forward to a new console game in the West (hopefully Medarot 10).
More bots, less money

Very obviously a cash grab for fans of the franchise, but the survival gameplay loop is fun. As a lover of Medabots, I was really excited. It’s nice that the gameplay is doable without dropping a band, but if you want interesting or unique medabots, it either takes weeks of optimal grinding or you pay a LOT of money. It’s also frustrating to me that the red bubble notifications do not go away unless you exhaust the ads. And there are way too many popups for all the limited time pull events. Speaking of events, the one kind of free one they give you is literally impossible to complete without spending money on something, be it energy or the special currency. It’s only up for 3 days, during which time you can only get half the required currency to pull the banner robot. Only reason this game gets a 2 instead of a 1 is because I enjoy the gameplay and Medabots.
More bots, less money

Seeing that Medabots came back even as a mobile title to the states got me super hyped. I was hoping that maybe it could be an RPG like the old Gameboy advance title. What I got sadly was another predatory Gacha game with insane prices wearing the skin of my beloved franchise. The gameplay is repetitive and mind numbing. There is no customization of your Medabots. The art is admittedly nice but that doesn't incentive me to spend actual money on this game. It's frustrating because I want this franchise to come back to the states but not like this. Not as some mediocre cash grab that preys on nostalgia for the series. But if this game fails then the holders of the IP will see it as us not wanting the franchise back at all. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
