They use predatory subscription tactics. I don’t recall agreeing to a $50 yearly subscription immediately when getting this app. They must have required a free trial I didn’t know about and send no reminder or warning email before automatically charging you. Defaulting to an entire year subscription is wild work. The app also doesn’t let you edit the length of your period while you’re on it (ex five days instead of the usual seven) also no where to add that you’re breastfeeding which effects your cycle. The tips and recipes are very repetitive and you could get all the info you need in one month and then you’re paying for the same content over and over again.
Hi, thank you for taking the time to share this. We’re really sorry for the experience you had.Subscriptions on Harmony are handled entirely by Apple. The price, duration, and free trial are shown on the confirmation screen before subscribing, and Apple sends a receipt and manages renewal settings and reminders. We don’t have the ability to charge outside of what’s explicitly approved in the App Store. That said, we hear your feedback. Editing period length and adding breastfeeding status are valid needs and already on our roadmap. We’re continuously expanding and refreshing tips, recipes, and content to avoid repetition and bring ongoing value over time.Harmony is designed to support users long-term, but we understand it may not be the right fit for everyone.
