This game is very addicting, so if you actually have something better to do, I wouldn’t recommend downloading it. That said, if you do try it, it’s pretty fun at least up to a point. It’s similar to a lot of other diner dash-style games. At first, the game feels fair. I didn’t even mind watching ads to get more time or points. I understand it’s a free app and ads are how they make money. However, once I reached the higher levels, I started noticing some issues that feel less like difficulty and more like the game actively cheating. It seems like the level difficulty or outcomes change based on how many jewels you use. In one “don’t lose a customer” level, I still had one customer left, but the game suddenly ended and told me I didn’t meet the goal, then tried to force me to watch an ad or spend jewels. In another type of level where you have to reach a certain amount, there were long stretches where no customers appeared at all, and the clock just ran out.The more I level up, the more this happens, which makes it feel like the game is becoming pay-to-play without actually admitting it. I’m not sure if this is a glitch or intentional, which is disappointing because the game is fun overall. I just don’t think the levels should be unfair or manipulated unless the app is upfront about being pay-to-play.
