This version improves the experience for new users by introducing a step-by-step flow that optimizes the full sign-up process, push notification requests, and app review prompts. It also removes the ranking page and the duplicate subscriptions page, and improves the settings page.

Improved notifications and updated information.

On the home screen, the classes section now clearly shows which classes you’ve completed and which ones you haven’t. We fixed a bug in the feedback count and in the feedback text overflow. We also made general improvements to the user experience.

The audio experience in the scroll/reading format has been improved: playback now stops completely at the end of the class. It was also ensured that no text audio is played during the questions. Feedback control has been made stricter: users must now provide useful feedback.

Fixed a bug where changing a class’s language didn’t update the image in the other language. Improved player performance. The player now automatically pauses on pages without playable elements.

Improvements to the global audio player introduced in version 0.5.0. Now, when fast-forwarding or rewinding audio, the page automatically scrolls to the text being played. Additionally, references can now be viewed in image captions through a bottom sheet.

Gurwi 0.5 brings a major change to how class audio works. In previous versions, users had to tap on each paragraph to play its audio. Now we’ve introduced a global player that automatically plays each text when you press “Continue” and provides greater control over playback position. For those who prefer to read on their own, we’ve added an option in Settings to disable automatic narration mode. This version also adds the ability to resume reading from the last page visited in a class. If you leave without finishing, you can pick up where you left off from the hamburger menu by selecting “Resume reading,” which unlocks all pages up to the previous one. Finally, we’ve made several minor improvements to enhance the overall user experience.
