On Mac, Voicerec lives in your menu bar and records system audio plus your microphone, so it captures Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or any app with no bot joining. Recordings sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Recordings are saved on your device first, resume after phone calls and interruptions, upload automatically when you're back online, and are recovered after an unexpected quit.
PRIVACY AND CONTROL
Recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest and backed up to your private account. Our speech-recognition provider (Deepgram) handles transcription; Google's AI (Vertex AI) processes summaries, Ask, briefs and name suggestions. Voicerec asks for your consent before using AI features, and you can turn them off in Settings.

This is a great app for someone who has to speak out loud in order to connect or understand what he or she may be saying I like the fact that I was in another app actually talking using talk to text and it came up. It recognized that I needed something like this as I downloaded it. Everything was self-explanatory and had a great search tutorial and just from the little bit I’ve done it’s great color-coded organized you can share and even give feedback rate this app five star good job.

Love that it’s just one click to record and you don’t have to deal with annoying bots in your meetings. And the summaries and action items are the perfect amount of detail. Short and easy to scan through but still give me all the important details. Much better than other products that have overwhelmed me with too many features.

VoiceRec has totally changed the way I record and organize my audio notes. I love having organized collections for different kinds of recordings. The AI transcription is spot-on, even with background noise, and the ability to search my recordings by keywords is a total game-changer. The speaker detection mostly works but it seems to sometimes confuse two people if they sound similar.

As an academic, I find VoiceRec super useful and easy to use. The ui is clean and cool. The app does the job great when you need to record your conversation and need its transcription. I particularly like the highlighting feature in the transcription. Highly recommended!

• Meetings on Home: connect Apple Calendar in Settings and your next meetings appear on Home with a Record button. The recording is named after the meeting, and the attendees' names are offered when you name the speakers.
• Meeting reminders: a notification a minute before a meeting with other people, with a tap to start recording. On by default once the calendar is connected, off in Settings.
• Live Activity: a running recording shows in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, where you can pause, resume or stop it.
• Record widget: start a recording from your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
• Send Feedback in Settings: pick a face, write a line and send it straight to the people who build Voicerec, with diagnostics if you choose to include them.
• Bug fixes and performance improvements.
