What’s New in this version: Prayer times now move correctly to the next day when the clocks change. Pairing a TV screen: choosing Not now frees the screen for someone else straight away. The screen remote no longer skips two slides when a tap is sent twice. Fixes and improvements.

Follow a mosque: see its prayer and Jumuah times, and swipe between your location and the mosques you follow. Ayah, Surah and Hadith of the day on the search tabs, ready to share. Prayer times are a little larger and easier to read. Downloads carry on after a dropped connection instead of starting over. Faster downloads, plus fixes and improvements.

Control full screen on your paired TVs from the Screens page Smoother sign in across your devices Bug fixes and performance improvements

Sign in on a computer by scanning a code with the Halaal app, and approve sign ins with a tap on your phone. Use your phone for two step verification, with codes that work offline. Pair a TV and control what it shows from your phone. Clearer notifications, with security alerts at the top. A new glass look for messages across the app. Faster and smoother throughout.

The prayer page has been rebuilt. The whole page is now a living sky that changes with the real time of day, and a single card shows what to pray right now, how long remains, and what comes next. Tap any prayer or optional time to bring it forward. A solar arc draws your actual day, from sunrise to sunset. The adhkar reader is improved: the number of times to say each dhikr is shown first, virtues now carry citations that open the hadith inside the app, and you can choose what to include when sharing. Also: reminders for Shurooq, Duha, midnight and the last third of the night, tidier widgets, better battery use, and small fixes throughout.

Prayer notifications you can rely on. They now sound through Focus modes — Fajr rings even inside your Sleep schedule — and they quietly re-schedule themselves in the background with your latest location, so travelling no longer means yesterday's town's times. Reading, refined. The controls moved within your thumb's reach at the bottom of the screen, with a live reference pill that always names the verse or hadith you're on — tap it to jump anywhere in the book, hold it to copy a citation worth sharing. Books gained the Qur'an's chapter navigation, your translation choice is remembered, and on iPad, Arabic and translation sit side by side. Find any hadith by its number: search "bukhari 1999", "muslim 878a", or just a number, and land on exactly that hadith — the same numbering used by sunnah.com and printed editions, now shown consistently everywhere. Widgets, completed: upcoming events display reliably and fit their widget perfectly, every widget adapts to its size, and the month widget shows the correct Hijri month. Plus a smoother prayers page that turns between days like a page in your hand — on iPad too.

Prayer times, your way: choose extra times (sunrise, Duha, midnight, the last third of the night), pick a calculation method or keep the automatic one, and set Hanafi Asr timing. Swipe the schedule up or down to see other days. Prayer reminders now show the exact time and location. A smoother side menu, and dates across the app follow your Hijri or Gregorian preference. Home screen widgets! Next prayer, all prayer times for the day, your upcoming events, and a month calendar that follows your Hijri or Gregorian preference. On iOS you can also add the next prayer and upcoming events to your Lock Screen. Tap any widget to jump straight to the right place in the app.

The Qur'an, in colour. A new view menu (Aa) on the Qur'an page lets you download the colour-coded Tajweed edition — the King Fahd Complex's own tajweed mushaf, rendered exactly as printed, with a built-in guide to what each colour means. Works fully offline after a one-time download, in light and dark mode, and shared verses carry the colours with them. Also fixed: downloaded books no longer need re-downloading after an app update. New: read the Quran in the Warsh narration. Download it from the reader's view menu. Includes its own numbering, text and font from the King Fahd Printing Complex.

Calendar improvements: changes you make offline are now clearly marked and sync automatically the moment your connection returns. Imported calendar invitations (including from Outlook) now show the correct time across timezones, with the event's own timezone shown on the details page.

Calendar Halaal now has a calendar. • Your events and the ones you've joined, in an agenda or a month view. • Create events of your own — one-off or repeating — and set reminders that understand a repeating series rather than a single date. • Works signed out. Events you make stay on your device and sync to your account whenever you decide to sign in. • Hijri or Gregorian throughout, whichever you read by — including the date pickers. • Open an .ics from Mail, Files or any calendar app and Halaal offers to add it. Halaal now appears in the system "Open with" list. • Share an event as a link or as a calendar file. • Organisers can see who is coming. • Everything is saved on the device, so your calendar opens instantly and reads fine offline. Prayer times • Pull to refresh now updates your location as well. Travelling no longer leaves you on the city you came from until you restart the app. Search • Queries with extra spacing or punctuation no longer come back empty.

Halaal accounts, voice search (English & Arabic), cleaner Hadith, and lots of polish. Added a navigation bug fix as well.

• New Hadith Library: six major collections in Arabic with English translation, organized by Book and Chapter, readable offline. • Search your books in Arabic or English. • Improved Qur'an search, a cleaner Arabic font, and image sharing. • Bug fixes, including iPad sharing.
