Sri Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada composed these divine verses while seated in the depths of the forest of Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh, India. “Sivananda Lahari” is a pinnacle of devotion, combining the unique and lucid poetic style of Sri Adi Sankaracharya. When chanted with surrender (Saranagati) to Lord Shiva, it bestows inner peace, spiritual elevation, bliss, and alleviates many difficulties in one’s life.

He is a disciple and staunch devotee of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Saccidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham.
