韩国一般分家常菜式和筵席菜式，各有风味，味辣色鲜、料多实在，无论哪种泡菜或者泡菜口味的调料都是韩国料理中必备的菜品。传统韩食多采用“定食”或者“饭床”的形式，注重一汁三菜，喜欢烤肉，这在百济国时期还影响了邻国日本的飞鸟时代的料理。尝过韩式泡菜、大酱汤、石锅拌饭、参鸡汤、韩国烤牛肉等的客人都对它们难以忘怀。
