- Learn & Review - Study items using spaced repetition, which schedules reviews at different intervals based on your performance. Learn new items at your own pace and review them when the system prompts you. Customize the intervals to your liking.
- Discover Community Decks - Browse and search public decks by language, topic, or name. Find decks for dozens of languages, sciences, arts, and other disciplines — all maintained collaboratively by the community.
- Create & Edit Your Own Decks - Create decks from scratch, define custom columns (text, images, audio, markdown), manage sections, and add items directly from your phone. The full array of deck management options is available on the deckademy website.
- Multiple Test Modes - Practice with typing tests, multiple choice, and word bank tests. Configure test behavior per deck — toggle no-typing mode, adjust the number of multiple choice answers, and more.
- Text to Speech (Plus) - Make use of high-quality synthesized audio in 70+ languages, as a fallback in decks that don't have audio files uploaded.
- Custom Review Sessions - Tailor review sessions to your needs. Filter by section or known items. Custom reviews don't affect your learning progress, so practice as much as you like.
- Cloze Deletion Tests (Plus) - Practice with generated fill-in-the-blank sentences for language decks. An experimental feature powered by a large language model.
- Offline Decks (Plus) - Download decks — including all images and audio — for offline use. Learning progress is automatically synchronized when you come back online.
- Deck Settings & SRS Customization - Adjust learning and review session sizes, prompt/test column pairs, extra column pairs, accent/diacritic handling, randomized learning order, and spaced repetition intervals for each deck independently.
- Dashboard & Statistics - Track your progress with weekly charts, recently learned items, and recent review mistakes. View your known item counts and due reviews at a glance.
- Export Decks (Plus) - Export decks as CSV, PDF, or EPUB for offline reference or e-book readers.
- Plus Subscription - Support deckademy and unlock extra features: high-quality text to speech, offline decks, EPUB & PDF exports, SRS customization, cloze deletions, and other features on the deckademy website.

* You can classify and group the items you are learning with tags. Each tag has a customizable label, text color and background color. Tags are assignable when viewing items on the deck page as well as during learning and review sessions.
* Tags can be used to look up items or to start custom reviews on specific items.
