If you decide to subscibe to Barebone Pro, payments for subscriptions will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the 'Manage Subscription' page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. The subscription will renew at the same cost.

Functionally it's a great app. It's just that I feel like it's half-baked. If you're centered around AI there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to upload your own portfolio as a CSV OR take a picture of it instead of inputting it manually. Easy update, zero reason this shouldn’t be a basic feature. If you’re going to charge people for the app for AI features, bring it up to 2026…

We're actively building a portfolio import feature that will let you connect directly from your brokerage, so no manual input or CSV workarounds needed. The reason it's not out yet is that we're being extra careful with the quality here, as portfolio and brokerage data is sensitive information and we want to make sure it works flawlessly before we ship it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! BIG SCAM!!! They are stealing your info and adding to their dada base. They ask you all of your information first and then they tell you at the end you cannot even try it without a credit card. Do not give them any of your info. They give you one week free trial but they take all of your credit card info of course 99% of people don’t ever call to cancel. No customer support either. Do not download this.

Hi Sameer — this claim is false. All subscriptions and free trials on our app are processed entirely through Apple’s official in-app purchase system. Our current plan requires your credit card details to activate a trial for auto renewals (before a trial is started, you will be reminded and notified about auto renewals), which is standard across all apps on the App Store. You can cancel anytime in your Apple settings before the trial ends with no charges.As for user data, Barebone only collects the basic information needed to personalize your research experience. All data is securely stored and handled in full compliance with Apple’s privacy requirements.
