【UMAME! Major Update — Plan together, pick by Vibe, discover by map. Now powered by AI.】
Looking for a great meal in Japan — with the people you're with?
Don't settle for tourist traps.
UMAME! uses AI to help you and your friends discover over 540,000 authentic local restaurants across Japan — the same places everyday Japanese people love.
Powered by Gurunavi's massive restaurant database, UMAME! is your guide to the real taste of Japan. From sushi and ramen to izakaya and yakiniku, find your perfect meal anywhere in the country.
■ Scene 1: Plan a night out, together
Pick a date and invite your friends to an event in UMAME!.
Once you've chosen who's coming, the AI reads what each of them likes and suggests restaurants that suit the whole group — then everyone votes, and the table is decided.
▼ Perfect for moments like:
・Getting the team together after wrapping up a big project
・Being put in charge of a large year-end or welcome party
・Settling on a place with the group you always meet up with
Pick who's coming, the mood, and the occasion. Everyone votes. The AI reads the room and suggests the places that fit.
■ Scene 2: Share the places you love
UMAME! is now an app you explore together.
Build collections with the friend who knows ramen, the friend who knows wine — and trade recommendations as shared lists.
Keep a shared shortlist with your partner for anniversaries. Make any collection you like, and share it with whoever you want.
The fastest way to find a place you'd never have found alone is a friend who already loves it.
■ Scene 3: Ask the AI when you can't decide
"Any good yakiniku near here I can go to with friends?"
Just ask, and the AI suggests where to go.
The AI learns what you like to eat, so even when you're in a hurry it walks you to the right table.
A reliable partner for finding a second spot, or when your first choice turns out to be full.
■ Reserve in English, right inside the app
No phone calls. No Japanese required.
Book your table directly in UMAME!, in English, in seconds.
Whether your first-choice restaurant is fully booked or you suddenly get hungry, UMAME! finds you a great spot you can reserve immediately.
