I like the way it tries to increase the amount of words you can take in at each glance and all the techniques it teaches which all add up to increase you reading speed.
Developer Response
Thank you! Expanding how many words you take in at a glance is at the heart of the app. Happy reading! 📈
Developers got greedy

This used to be my favorite speed reading app, or one of them at least. And now when I decide to play it again, you lock all of the features behind a paywall. I don’t mind you having a premium plan, but you should still allow generous access to free stuff. For those who don’t feel like paying. Back to Iris Reading and Accelareader I go. It’s a shame since so many other speed reading apps are also paid subscription. I can get the same experience with Accelareader.
Developer Response
Hey—thanks for the honest call-out, and I’m sorry we let you down. You’re right: we recently changed pricing and some trainings shifted to Premium. That helped us keep the app ad-free and continue building new content, but maybe we didn’t leave a generous enough free path. That’s on us.We’re revisiting the free tier to restore more no-cost practice so you can train without committing. We appreciate you used to enjoy the app, and we’d love the chance to earn that spot back. Thanks again for the feedback; it genuinely helps us fix this.
Great User Experience!

I’ve used many apps that attempt to push the learner’s ability to speed up their reading while failing to help boost their comprehension. This app does both superbly!
Developer Response
Thanks so much! Our goal with Speed Readingo is exactly that—boost speed and comprehension, not one at the expense of the other. Appreciate you being here!
Day 1

Just started using it and it is what I have been looking for after trying another app prior. Expanding peripheral and word chunking is what I like so far.
Developer Response
Thanks for the kind words! Glad the peripheral vision and word chunking exercises are helping. Keep it up! 🚀
What's new in SpeedReadingo 2.0:
• iPhone Duo support: the app now runs full screen on both the cover and the inner display, and you can use it in landscape on the inner display.
• A new welcome: a few quick questions about your goals and reading habits, and your plan adjusts to your first speed test.
• A more realistic first speed test: if you skim through the text without reading it, your result is based on how much you understood.
• Bug fixes and small improvements.
Enjoying SpeedReadingo? A rating helps us a lot.
