We’ve listened. The old limit of 5 cards in the free version wasn’t cutting it — so we’ve removed it. You can now store unlimited preloaded cards for free, and we’ve increased free custom cards to 2. We're finally releasing the fix to that pesky crash when trying to share your cards... And we added a bigger barcode view for those times when your card might not scan at the till. Toggle the taller card view with a tap of a button, or set it as the default (if you're a premium subscriber). FYI, sometimes card's might not read at the till: This is mostly related to the scanner, or in odd cases, a bit of a reflection bouncing off your screen. The taller barcode view should help. While we were at it, in preparation for iOS 26 launching in the coming weeks, we did some minor housekeeping, updated the icon, had a look around to make sure any little gremlins didn't get close to water, and fixed a few usability issues at the same time. Eeeek. Sometimes bugs creep in. Sorry about that. In the last update, during the migration our API had an issue, and this seems to have caused some data corruption and caused some cards to be converted to custom cards. Fear not, it's not catastrophic and thanks to all the reports. No matter how much I tested, I guess I missed some eventualities. To counteract this, I've built a little tool that will help to recover the cards. On first load, it will prompt to repair the cards that were affected. It will ask you to confirm which cards to repair, so nothing is done without your permission. The upside to this update is that it also ticks off a roadmap item which was to allow users to migrate custom cards to built-in cards.

This is a massive, and very long overdue update. Besides squashing many of the bugs that were reported, so many new features have been added, this should have been multiple releases. Some of the bigger items include: 1. iCloud Backups (and the ability to restore them, obviously). 2. Card Nicknames (Lots of you have asked for this, especially when using multiple cards from the same place). 3. Categories - You can now choose what type of card it is (and sort by them). 4. Yes, you saw right, you can now sort your cards. Custom sort coming soon for premium subscribers. 5. Barcode types: Did we get it wrong? Well, now you can change the type of barcode being used. 6. Notifications - pretty obvious what they do, but part of something bigger that is coming soon. Several other improvements have been added, like faster startups (no more getting stuck inside those pesky stores with limited connection and holding up the queue), and automatic scanning when scanning directly from the camera - now you don't have to use your nose, or awkwardly ask someone else to tap the screen for you, while you try scan your card. Or was that just me? There's so much more on the backlog, with the biggest feature coming next being Apple Watch support, support for photos being added to your cards, and all the other feature requests you beautiful humans keep sending in. This is a big little update: - This week I have worked on a revised UI with light mode. Thank you Simon, for raising this. - Additional notes are actually showing properly now. Whoops - Barcode scanning from the camera is now automatic, so no need to stretch those fingers to tap the screen. That was a silly thing, anyway. - Speaking of barcodes, there is now support for more barcode types. Please raise a support ticket if you notice a particular store card's barcode is not working. - Sharing cards is cleaner now and handles light/white cards much better. - Fixes a pesky bug in the free version that showed 1/2 cards when you had used all 5. On the brand side of things, the CMS is fully up and running and all the popular SA brands will be loaded into the app automatically. A small update that fixes a potential issue with saving/adding cards. This update also includes the ability to remove a brand remotely, as well as improves in-app purchases (and should finally allow you to purchase the premium add-on).
