Bookends Premium now comes as a one-time Lifetime purchase, alongside the monthly and annual plans. You can switch plans anytime from Manage Subscription. If you were subscribed through the App Store when Lifetime launched, you've been upgraded to Lifetime at no extra cost. Turn off your old subscription's renewal in Settings so you aren't charged again. Bookends will remind you and take you straight there. Also in this update: - Your streak flame is back on the home screen, and bigger. - Streaks and reading days stay put when you travel across time zones. - Tap + on any calendar day to add a reading session for that day. - Progress shows whole percentages without losing your exact place. - Calendar controls stay reachable on smaller screens and at larger text sizes.

Import and read your own EPUB books right in Bookends, with highlights, notes, bookmarks, and customizable reading settings. Track sessions as you read using a movable floating timer, with start and end positions filled in automatically. We’ve also refreshed Add Book with popular book suggestions, clearer search, and dedicated EPUB import and manual entry buttons.

This update brings more ways to make Bookends your own: • Find friends by username without sharing your email address. • Add a profile photo and change your username from Profile. • Set daily reading goals in pages, minutes, or percentage of a book. • Choose which books appear in Jump Back In, and remove books you no longer want there. • Browse the books you’ve finished this year, including your ratings and reading dates. • Enjoy a refreshed home screen with reading reminders alongside your daily progress. Plus improvements to reading streaks and plan selection.
