Astronomy on the North Polar AE Projection
This is an accurate astronomical model implementing celestial information with geographical information going beyond the limitation of 1st person observer based models. We let you go into 3rd person to see how the observer views celestial bodies and how the physical location (ground position) is related to those observations.
The North Polar AE Projection is the best way to plot the relationship between observers and the physical location giving unique insight that is not possible in regular astronomical apps.
With this app, you’ll be able to make real world Sun and Moon predictions, including the angle of elevation from the horizon and the Sun’s path from your perspective at any time and date. The azimuth feature even allows your compass to point you in the correct direction.
You can manually set your latitude and longitude to any location you want.
