This is definitely the best game of its kind. It’s pretty easy to fulfill orders and get more gems and energy. I don’t follow the story line too closely but the fashion is amazing!! Other games like this have just basic stand in options but this game clearly pays attention to its aesthetics and fashion choices and I genuinely enjoy getting to pick every time. The one downside is when you get to the higher levels every level becomes just so much more expensive to play and makes it a lot harder and more annoying. sometimes I just delete and redownload to restart the cheaper levels. I wish they didn’t make it get so expensive. In the first levels the cost only increases once you’ve completed a whole level and not at every step of the level. However, later on every single step increases in cost and it makes it get more expensive much quicker. Hope they fix this when they have more chapters ready to go.

Update: I still stand by my original review. I would also like to add that it is very frustrating for the cost to get through the story to increase but nothing else increases with it. We don’t get a bigger merge board, we don’t get a bigger energy bank, and for the most part you’re still starting at the most basic level of items making completing the larger/higher level items really challenging. The little floating bear also really frustrates me and I wish there was an option to disable it. Original: I generally enjoy this game, it’s a lot of fun and really easy to play without having to buy things, and it can be really addictive. That said, it gets really really frustrating to have orders that require an immense amount of merging but the item boxes have to refresh/load constantly. How am I supposed to get to the highest level for an item if I keep having to stop merging just so that the box can load more? It’s also really frustrating that I have so many different item boxes but only get orders from the wardrobe, coffee machine, and make up bag. I honestly end up getting most of my coins from orders for the max level items like the boots or sundays. I’m at a point where I’m not sure if I want to continue playing because I do enjoy the game but I also don’t like it taking me so long to fill orders, whether it’s because the item is a high level or because the boxes have to keep refreshing, I don’t like it.

The game started out great. I play pretty much daily. But greed has taken its toll and I’m debating deleting. For one I’m now waiting on the storyline, so play is just the orders. Not terrible until they changed the prize structure and made it impossible to complete most of the other games that you win as a result of completing orders. The balloon game once a pretty easy win with great prizes is no more. Now I can’t even finish the 10 levels and the prizes minuscule and trash. Dreamland has not once been completed despite the 7 day window to do so. The game requires entirely too much energy to play. That says a lot considering how much I’m on this game. Golden Apple had great prizes that made you want to play ending with 300 energy (level 7) and 200 gems (level 8-game completion). They took those for prizes that don’t even compare. Even the starlight card game which now is a continuous game prizes has been reduced. All of this in the name of trying to get you to spend more money in the game. Guess what? I don’t spend money in games where it’s a clear money grab and where I feel cheated. I wouldn’t hesitate to spend money before because the regular prizes were enough to keep game play going. But that will be no more because now there’s a blatant money grab and the rewards in regular gameplay aren’t worth it anymore. Bring the old prizes back and stop the greed!

Horribly uninteresting and unrealistic storyline, insufferably (again unrealistic) and annoying characters, truly awful ai-generated art. Characters almost never look good, outfits never seem to match the supposed event you’re dressing for or furniture in rooms you’re redecorating and the items don’t ever seem to match well especially if you don’t want to spend diamonds, signs and words are always jumbled in what is a clear AI indicator. Getting diamonds without spending money is horrendously difficult. A recent update has changed Alice’s face and she looks absolutely awful now, that absolutely needs to be reversed. Generators have seemingly random time outs with some being only a few seconds and some being half an hour for absolutely no reason that I can identify but it’s incredibly frustrating.The main merge gameplay is exactly what you expect but there are so many issues surrounding it that I just can not recommend this game in particular over any other merge game. The single highlight that this game has over others is the amount of timers (how long until you can use a generator again, how long until a bubble pops) as it is very nice to be able to know how long I need to wait for a generator rather than repeatedly closing and opening the game again just hoping to be right.
