Dragging tasks is fast again Moving a task to another day could make DayMap stop responding, especially with a lot of tasks. It was doing far more work than it needed to every time you dropped one. Nothing was ever lost - the move was always saved before the app stalled - but it should now stay responsive however much you drag. Calendar switches explain themselves The two calendar options could switch themselves back off without saying why. Three different things cause that, and DayMap now tells you which one, with a button that takes you to the right place in System Settings.

What's new in this version: • Repeating tasks now show that they repeat, and how — "Weekly — Tue, Wed, Thu" — right in the Project Planner. They also stay put when you hide completed tasks, instead of disappearing. • Deleting a repeating task now asks what you meant: skip a single day, stop it from a day onward, or remove it altogether. • Fixed hiding completed tasks removing every occurrence of a repeating task from the calendar, not just the ones you'd finished. • Fixed being unable to undo a task deleted from its detail view. • Send a Copy of a project as text or PDF — now on iPhone as well as Mac. • Mac: choose how large the Task Scheduler draws its text — Compact, Default or Large — in Preferences. iPhone and iPad follow your system text size. What's new in this version: • Fixed renaming a project being lost if you clicked away instead of pressing Return. The new name is now kept either way, and Escape cancels. • Contexts that shared a name are now merged into one, and creating a context that already exists reuses it. Your projects keep their grouping. • You can now change a context's color — click or tap its color dot in Settings. Before, the color was assigned when the context was created and couldn't be changed. • Settings now tells you plainly when calendar sync or reminders have stopped because DayMap Pro ended, instead of leaving you to work it out. • Groundwork for sharing projects with other people, which is what we're building toward. 3 Daily Bearings Mark the three tasks that set the direction of your day. DayMap numbers them 1, 2 and 3, and the number follows the task wherever it appears — your Schedule, your projects, and the Today screen on Apple Watch. Three is the limit, on purpose. When a day is already full, you choose which one drops. You can also pick a day's bearings ahead of time — open any future day and choose there. Progress rings Each project now carries a small ring that fills as its tasks are completed. Both can be switched off in Settings if you'd rather not see them. Also on iPhone: swipe left on a project to delete it, and creating a new project is now reachable from the Projects screen. Fixed: setting DayMap up on a second device could create a duplicate set of sample projects.
