Carcon is the official app of the Kwasilva operation, the ZARTSA-certified operator for vehicle registration, licensing and technical inspection services in Zanzibar (ZARTSA — Zanzibar Road Transport and Safety Authority).
Everything your vehicle needs — registration, inspection, licences and payments — in one app, with official records and clear, fixed fees.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Technical inspection — see when your inspection is due and view the result, book for next one
- Road and route licences — apply for and renew commercial and route licences
- Pay in seconds — fees and fines paid by mobile money (Mixx by Yas) or through Wakala agents
- Traffic fines — see any fine issued against your vehicle and settle it directly
- Your documents, always with you — registration certificate and licence details, keeping updated dates
- Reminders — a notification before an inspection or licence runs out
OFFICIAL AND SECURE
- Operated by Kwasilva under ZARTSA certification — every action is written to the official vehicle register of Zanzibar
- You are identified by your National ID and confirm each action with a one-time code sent to your phone
- Fixed, transparent fees — you always see the full amount before you pay
WHO IT IS FOR
Private vehicle owners, commercial and public transport operators, and licensed agents acting on behalf of owners in Zanzibar.
