I have only done about three of these art activities, but I have gone through each of the sections and looked at all the art activities offered. I am always looking for art therapy activities to do, I browse sites like Pinterest searching for good ones. The ones on this app are really very good and unique to what I have seen elsewhere. I really like the fact that there is an activity and then a reflection which consists of questions related to the activity to complete once you’ve finished. I like the fact that there’s a preparation section as well, telling you what materials you need and what you need to do to get ready. The different areas that the activities fall into such as healing trauma and grief are really important areas as well. You can tell that the creator put a lot of time and effort into this, and I know that this app is something that I will use for quite a while and will enjoy a lot, and get some healing from. It’s also something that I can use more than once. I think I could probably benefit from doing each activity more than once, which is great for an app to have.

I enjoy this app. It provides guidance and suggestions for how to mindfully explore emotions using art as the medium. The process is supportive and includes short meditations beforehand, the actual project, and reflection questions after. If you follow through with the whole process, it’s pretty effective. My only hesitation is that sometimes the project requires specific drawing techniques which I don’t have a talent for, e.g., to draw a self-portrait showing a specific talent. But most activities are not that specific and there are plenty to choose from. I recommend it!
