This app is incredible my wife and I are trying to eat better and workout so having an app like this is crucial, we had no idea some of the foods we been eating were so high on the apps number system There is one problem with the app that is it should of been developed a lot sooner- lolAnywho get this app you need it and will not be disappointed and if there is one critique I can say it is I would like it to pick up on more barcodes in the future having to take a picture of the nutrition list isn’t a big deal and most of the time it finds the product just from the listed ingredients-impressive- but that being said I would still like to see more barcodes codes incorporated because any steps we can eliminate and make things more simple the better only been a couple weeks since we found this app and already feeling better and loosing my belly fatOne of my favorite apps Thank you

It’s extremely easy to use. All you do is scan the barcode of the food you would like to inspect and it tells you how much sugar, starch, and heavily processed seed oils are in it. It also gives a list of the ingredients, highlighting the more malignant ones. I just wish after you scanned an item, it would save that scan in a database so you can go back and look at it in the future. If you get 200 scans you could create a great catalog of what to eat and what not to eat.

The app has been helpful in noticing more seed oils in our food, processes sugars and processed starches. I was surprised to find out that Dave’s Killer Bread (sprouted) was a 6 and Cascadian Farms organic cereal (fruity crispy rice)was an 8.One suggestion for an improvement is there be an explanation to the Contained Ingredients for the meaning of the colors associated with the ingredient. It seems like the color codes are the same as in the Macro weight Breakdown although there are certain ingredients that are red, such as carrageenan.

Ever since we began using Dr. Berg‘s app when purchasing items at the grocery store, I have had a reduction in inflammation due to the reduced sugars I am no longer consuming. That’s because of the knowledge that this app prepares me with. And that’s only one reason it is so helpful. Anyone who wants to become healthier and know what they’re actually buying and consuming should download this app. Thank you, Dr. Berg.
