What's New in DerbyFish v2.2.0 Offline Mode — App now works without internet. Catch submissions save locally and sync when you sign back in. Verify Fish Button — New floating capture button in the center of the tab bar. Tapping it takes you straight to Verify Fish. During an active session it pulses green with a live timer. Session Flow — Live session timer and End Session button now live on the Verify Fish page. Timer pill shows on the camera while you're submitting catches. No more popup modals interrupting your flow. Session Stability — Fixed the screen flickering bug during active fishing sessions. Solid green border, smoother transitions throughout. Submit Flow Fixes — No more "missing required media" errors or stuck buttons. Upload failure banners from old sessions are gone. Home Page — Quick action buttons no longer overflow on small screens. Map widget with Explore Map button. Everything aligned edge-to-edge. More Modal — Reorganized and renamed: Compete, Captain - Host Competitions, Fish Index, Map - Weather / BOWs, Catch Uploads, Tools. Swipe to dismiss. Selecting a theme no longer closes the modal. Global UI elements are suppressed where appropriate (e.g., tab bar + “Become a member” button won’t intrude on Forcaster/post routes). Derby discovery tweak: when search returns no derbies, users get a CTA to “Start your own derby → Become a captain.” Rankboard purchase gating: purchasing is now limited to Upcoming derbies (button disabled + status messaging for Active/Past). Submission / Catch Reel overhaul Catch reel generation now targets https://golive.derby.fish and requests hero-catch-reel. Generated media IDs are persisted back onto the submission record; loading logic focuses on the primary (hero) reel. Adds full-screen catch reel viewer + simplified media rendering (animations removed to reduce layout weirdness). Submission page is wrapped in RoutePage for more consistent navigation/title handling.
