Nature is a digital board game that invites you into the untamed wilderness, where you must adapt to survive. From the designer of the award-winning Evolution series, Nature is designed to be faster, better balanced, and seamlessly expandable.
Adapt to Survive
Grow your creatures in a world where resources are limited and danger is never far away. Develop the Fast trait to outrun predators, add Nesting to boost your population growth, or play Tusked to root out food others can't. With traits that combine and synergize, you can find success with a variety of strategies.
Seamlessly Expandable
Thanks to Nature's modular game system, no two games are ever the same. Mix and match different modules, each introducing new rules and thematic twists to the ecosystem. Flight features soaring creatures and new ways to find food, Jurassic brings out colossal predators, and in the Arctic Tundra survival itself is always in question. Modules can even be combined to create new ecosystems with unique interactions.
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
Nature has been refined through years of development and thousands of playtests to offer a game that's easy to learn yet deep in strategy. New players can jump right in with clear rules and intuitive gameplay, while experienced strategists will discover layers of tactical depth and challenge. The result is a well-balanced experience that keeps everyone coming back for more.
Key Features:
Solo Campaign: Play against smart digital opponents and take on custom challenges that tweak the rules in the Campaign.
Multiplayer Matchmaking: Get matched with others of a similar skill level in cross platform multiplayer.
Play with friends your way: Challenge friends in real time or asynchronous games, or use pass and play for up to four players on the same device.
Singleplayer Opponents: Four levels of AI difficulty and six different opponent strategies provide lots of challenge.
Stunning Artwork: Beautiful watercolor illustrations and animations bring the natural world to life.
Modular System: Each Module introduces new gameplay and combinations
Whether you venture alone or with fellow explorers, the wilds of Nature offer a new adventure with every visit.
I love Nature. It hits that perfect balance of relaxing and thoughtful, and it’s a game I genuinely enjoy playing with my. The calm visuals and smooth digital flow make it easy for everyone to jump in, but there’s enough strategy under the hood to keep me fully engaged each turn. The new Natural disasters module is what really has made thr game work for me. Every game is different. It’s one of those games that feels cozy and approachable while quietly encouraging you to play just a little smarter each time.
A Fun Evolution of The Formula (with a few minor gripes)
Dragonborn Plays
I’ll start this off by saying something simple. This game is good. It takes quite a few of the mechanics and cards from the original Evolution and manages to expand on them in a lot of very different, very creative ways that make it a blast to play, especially with friends. There’s only one real gripe that I have. A lot of the settings from the Original Evolution, particularly with the Local Game Settings, have been entirely cut. I honestly really like those settings, being able to control how long the game goes on for (because I personally think that sessions in this compared to the standard Evolution are WAY too short) would immediately make this a 5 star game for me. Being able to customize which cards show up, and which ones don’t made things much more convenient if I wanted to play a certain way on Local Play. Being able to customize different aspects of the session. That’s what I enjoy most about the original Evolution Board Game. As it stands, I feel like Nature, while fun, isn’t as customizable. To sum it up, Nature is a good game. I just wish that it had some of the settings that the original Evolution had. With updates I could easily see this becoming one of the best games in the Evolution lineup (besides the original, of course!)
Great Rendition of a Physical Game
ExplodingPotionBrewer
If you are looking to try a board game before dropping bigger bucks on the physical edition or have friends around the world that you want to have board game nights with, this is a game to try. The artwork and music are excellent. The creator has been releasing module expansions regularly since the game debuted, and bugs are being fixed. I like that I can play as many or few of the expansions as I want depending on how complex of a game I’m in the mood for. Not my favorite game, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the game. I am more into puzzle-type strategy like Calico or Patchwork. The creators have done a great job. Keep up the good work!(I was offered a Salmon Run mini expansion in exchange for a review, but the opinion is mine)
Great!
VMG53
I love this game! I played Evolution before this one came out and both are really fun. I like the campaign section and that there are various difficulties so you can keep playing it for a while before you finish it off. The only downside is that not a lot of people play, so you may not be able to play multiplayer sometimes. I hope more people find this game!
Natural Disasters is released!
Volcanoes, Giant Comets and Tsunamis can strike at any moment.
Some things are out of your control, survive if you can!
