Voltz: Volunteering in Aruba, and Something to Show for It.
Find a cause near you, give a few hours, and check in from your phone. When the organisation confirms your hours, they land in your wallet as Voltz: one Voltz for every hour you give.
Spend your Voltz at local businesses that support the work.
How It Works
1. Find an event. Search by cause, date, or district.
2. Check in. Use your phone to check in when you arrive and out when you leave.
3. Get your hours approved. The organisation confirms the time you volunteered.
4. Earn Voltz. Every hour volunteered earns you one Voltz.
5. Redeem your rewards. Show your code at a partner business to spend your Voltz.
What You Get
1. Keep every hour you've volunteered in one place, with a record you can actually show.
2. Volunteer Passport: Share your volunteering history with an employer or school.
3. Badges: Earn recognition as your hours add up.
4. Leaderboard: See how you compare with other volunteers, if you're into that.
5. UN Global Goals: Discover which global goals your work supports.
6. Follow Organisations: Stay connected with the causes you care about.
For Organisations
1. Create events, see who's coming, and approve volunteer hours directly from your phone.
2. Thank the people who show up with Voltz they can actually spend.
3. When a sponsor backs your cause, every hour you host earns your organisation money, with nothing to apply for.
For Businesses
1. Offer a reward, connect with people giving their time to the island, and scan their Voltz code at your counter.
2. Support local volunteering while welcoming new customers into your business.
Voltz is free for volunteers.
Available in Aruba and Curaçao.
