I love this app. I’m self hosting the server and love that I can import the Google Maps data as well as scrape geotags from immich. The only feature I wish this had that it doesn’t is the ability to change the stats to imperial. When I show someone the stats page I always hear “what’s that distance in miles”. Can’t wait to see where this app goes from here but amazing job thus far!

I liked the Google maps feature but didn’t like them collecting it (and I think they might be killing it off soon) so when I saw I could host it myself privately while still getting to see my travels, I did so ASAP. The app has been working great for me so far and hasn’t had any effect on battery!

Dawarich is great for location tracking with basically no impact on battery. The UI is clean and user friendly, but it would be very nice if the timestamp for individual points could be viewed, like on the web version. Adding that would be amazing!
