I was searching for the Bible Recap plan to study. All I’ve seen so far is a daily verse with music playing. I haven’t found a setting to turn off the sound. There are tons of free apps that do the same.

Developer Response
We sincerely apologize that the app feels limited and difficult to navigate. You can turn off the background music by tapping the music icon on the player screen. We understand your frustration about finding the Recap plan. Our current version has some UI limitations that we are addressing in a major upcoming update to make the study content much more accessible and user-friendly. Please reach out to us at aabcreativestudio@gmail.com so we can assist you in locating the study plans or hear more of your suggestions.

I like idea of this app but it has many glitches

I was excited for this app and glad I didn’t have to go to a podcast app to find the recap and I was enjoying doing the new treatment reading plan for the first 5 days and then the video stopped working and will not load. I also am not sure where to find notes or extra reading that Tara mentions in the video. The daily verses that show up on the screen when you open the app are really random and often are not necessarily verses you would use a a “daily” or “inspirational” verse. Hopefully Bible Recap can fix a lot of issues because the potential for a fantastic app is there.

Having the book and liking the format, I purchased the app for convenience when traveling. Immediately I had problems. The audio would not download. I requested and received my money back. I used the book and my Bible. Seeing there was an update done recently, I decided to try again. Audio for the commentary works, but not for the scripture. Shouldn’t it? I’d like to listen in my car as I travel. The app as a whole could use an easier format to use. I downloaded the app knowing potential problems but hoping for corrections. Disappointed. This time keep my money. Invest in improving the app.

Disgusting adds

I downloaded free version on family recommendation who also had free version, but she said no adds… . After 2 pages of Gen Ch 1 the page went to a “continue” reading message across the page. Could not progress without clicking this. Then forced to 30 seconds of adds before could finally click the add off. Read one more page of about 10 verses when forced to this same progress. And! Across the page with the actual verses a line of pornographic adds scrolled on the bottom of the page. Disgusting. I had to delete.

Thank you for bringing this critical issue to our attention. We are horrified to hear about the inappropriate ads you encountered. While we strive to keep the app accessible for free, we rely on ad networks that are supposed to filter out all mature content. We are currently auditing our ad settings to ensure this never happens again. We also apologize for the 'continue' prompt and ad frequency, which we are working to optimize. Please email us at aabcreativestudio@gmail.com with any details or screenshots you may have; it will help us block that specific advertiser immediately. Your spiritual journey is important to us, and we are committed to fixing this.
