Restore Google Takeout timestamps & GPS
Did you lose your photo dates and locations after downloading your Google Photos library?
When you export your memories via Google Takeout, the critical metadata—like when the photo was taken or where you were—is often stripped from the image file and hidden in separate JSON files. This leaves your photo gallery in chaos, with pictures showing the wrong date (usually the day you downloaded them) and missing GPS coordinates.
MetaData Recover is the essential tool designed to merge this lost data back into your photos and videos. We seamlessly reconnect your media files with their original JSON metadata, restoring your timeline to perfection.
Key Features
• Google Takeout Specialist: Specifically engineered to fix the “wrong date” issue common with Google Photos exports.
• Restore Timestamps: Corrects EXIF data so your photos appear in the correct chronological order in Apple Photos, iCloud, or any gallery app.
• Recover GPS Location: Re-embeds the original location data so your “Places” albums work again.
• Smart Batch Processing: Handle thousands of files at once. Our engine automatically matches photos (JPG, HEIC, PNG) and videos (MP4, MOV) with their corresponding JSON files, even if filenames were truncated or modified during export.
• Safe & Secure: All processing happens locally on your device. We preserve your original files by creating corrected copies or modifying them safely in place.
Stop manually editing dates. Let MetaData Recover fix your library in minutes.
