Stamp Identification
Point your camera at any stamp and Stampy identifies the country, issue year, series, perforation type, and historical background — including rare, vintage, and error stamps. No more hours lost flipping through Scott or Stanley Gibbons catalogs.
Real-Time Market Values
Get up-to-date price estimates drawn from global dealers, auction houses, and recent sales. Whether you're buying, selling, or insuring, you'll always know what a stamp is actually worth — not what it was worth a decade ago.
Professional Condition Grading
Stampy grades centering, perforations, gum, and color to give you a clear condition rating: Good, Fine, Very Fine, Extremely Fine, or Superb. Understand exactly where a stamp sits in the market before you buy or sell.
Your Collection, Organized
Build digital stamp albums with photos, notes, purchase prices, and current valuations. Cloud sync keeps everything backed up and accessible across all your devices — your collection is safe even if your phone isn't.

I scanned around 100 stamps, and it told me there were several over $50-$100, with the average value being around $15. Not a single one of my stamps wasn't available on ebay for less than $2, with most worth pennies. Cool idea, but poorly executed. Might be good for cataloguing your collection for archival purposes, if you just want to know values you're better off just using google lens.
Highly inaccurate
Inaccurate readings
Gave me prices that are way higher than what the actually were worth
Developer Response
The accuracy of the stamp scans is highly dependent on the circumstances that the picture was taken in. Especially readings of the condition and resulting price require a good photograph in good light. If the condition is rated correctly, the price is matched against multiple sources online where stamps have been sold for the stated prices. If you have further questions regarding individual scans, contact us.
Our stampy community now gets a much more structured app experience. We have worked on every detail in the app to give you the best experience all around!
