The first time I tried this app was completely disappointing, and I thought it would be just another abandoned app. I’m very happy to have found I was wrong.I have now given a 5 star because it works and has several useful features, but I do think it could stand to be further developed. I was able to accomplish what I wanted, but I did need to play with it for a few minutes first. I think some would find it to be confusing if they had not used a program like this before.I very much appreciate the preview automatically adapting on the control screen for how the settings chosen will change the file name.

Please update the app, this issue was fixed months ago. We've also improved the renaming logic and overall reliability since then.

Great but Number 1 issue

Great application; it can change file names from other applications folders; but the issue with 1 being added at the end of file names still exist; I didn’t understand the developer solution with disabling counting files. Hope these issue got fixed.

Thank you for the feedback! The “1” being added to filenames was indeed a bug and has been completely fixed in the latest version. No more unwanted numbers will be added when using prefix/suffix options.Thanks for helping improve the app!
Great but Number 1 issue

Works well, except for one glaring flaw. It appends the end of each renamed file with a ‘1’, so one is obliged to still go through the files one by one to remove this added ‘1’. I have not found a way to not have this happen.

This will give you full control over whether numbers are added to your renamed files.
